Privacy notice

This notice covers this website. What happens to messages and photos inside the Construction Metric service is separate: it is governed by our agreement with each client and summarised on the Security and GDPR page.

Who we are

Construction Metric is a product of AI Metric Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom. For anything in this notice, contact chris@ai-metric.com.

What this website collects

If you use the contact form or ask for your ROI results, we collect what you type: your name, email address, company and message. The form is delivered to us by Formspree Inc., a United States provider, which processes the submission solely to pass it to us. Nothing on this site asks for payment details or account passwords.

This website sets no advertising or analytics cookies and runs no visitor tracking. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, page requested, time) for security and capacity purposes.

Why we can use it

We rely on legitimate interests: you contacted us, and we need your details to reply. Where you explicitly ask us to keep you informed, we rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by emailing us.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with them and for up to 12 months afterwards, then deleted. If an enquiry becomes a client relationship, its details move under the client agreement instead.

Transfers

Formspree processes form submissions in the United States under recognised UK transfer safeguards (the UK extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or standard contractual clauses with the UK addendum).

Your rights

  • Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct it or delete it.
  • Object to, or ask us to restrict, our use of it.
  • Ask for it in a portable format.

Email chris@ai-metric.com and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
